If the A/C vents in your 2002 Acura MDX are broken, loose, faded, or no longer controlling airflow, the dealer path usually means replacing the whole vent assembly. VentTabs keeps the fix focused on the small control tab, so the repair is simpler, less expensive, and usually tool-free.
Order the VentTab that matches your vent position, finish, and pack size. If the louver layout in your cabin looks different from the photos, send support a quick picture before checkout so the repair starts with the closest confirmed match.
Designed for Acura MDX 2001-2006.
Parts are modeled in 3D CAD and proven against the actual A/C vent geometry before release.
Made from ABS, selected for this vent design and finish.
VentTabs has spent years solving broken or missing automotive vent control tabs with protected repair designs.
The original vent controls can loosen, fade, or break off while the rest of the vent still works. This keeps the order, install, and support focused on the part drivers actually touch.
What stays protected
Original dashboard trim
Factory vent housing
Directional airflow control
Each supported vent can require a different tab design. Match the vehicle, vent position, and pack size before ordering. If the repair match is unclear, support can help verify the right next step.
Included
VentTab replacement in the selected pack size and location.
Fitment
Built for Acura MDX 2001-2006.
Install
No vent removal in most cases; center the mechanism behind the louvers and slide the tab into place.
Material
High-strength ABS.
Watch the repair before you order.
Install flow
Line up the replacement with the louver blade where the original control tab snapped off.
Seat the VentTab on the correct blade, supporting the vent from behind if needed.
Run the vent through its range and confirm it holds the direction you set.

Step 01
Check all your vents for functionality. Use your year, make, and model to order the correct VentTab, then choose the right vent position and color when asked. Before installing, remove any remaining loose plastic so the replacement tab can seat cleanly.
Step 02
Begin by placing the VentTab on the correct louver blade. Keep the tab centered and line up the two VentTab forks so they straddle the vertical post.
Step 03
Press the VentTab into position until it locks onto the louver. You'll feel or hear a click when it's properly installed. You're done.

Quick and easy
They worked just like they said and were easy to install
2005 Acura MDX vent tabs
The tabs are slightly bigger, and thus more sturdy. It is easy to snap the tabs in place of the old broken one
Great Product
The vent tabs aren't 100% oem looking, but no one would ever notice. That's how great they are and way more sturdy them the originals.
quick service, fast delivery and great product
For the reasons stated in my review title I can tell any doubters that this Site has come thru for me twice and saved me having to go to the Acura Dealer and pay hundreds of dollars because they make you buy the entire vent assembly. The tabs are easy to install. They do provide installation directions that are clear and concise.
Good product
The item installs easily and works well.
Awesome product!
Second time I've purchased these. They work great, easy to install, and cost much less than a new vent from the dealer.
Very happy!
Product was easy to snap on, and we are thrilled to be able to use our vents again! Thank you so much!
PERFECT !
Went right in just as described in the instructions. Look just like the one's I removed. Except for ONE BIG thing. There is more material at the point just behind the control surface where you touch it to move the vent. This is right where the old one's break easily. Fixed my problem and look great ! Thanks !!
Works Great!
Easy to install. Looks just like original.
