How to know which vent tab design is best for my vehicle

Finding the Right Vent Tab

1. Check the product descriptions carefully to see if the vent tab listing specifies fitment for your car's make, model, and year range. Many sellers offer tabs designed for popular models.
2. Look at the images and compare the shape of the vent tab to your existing louver blades. The prongs/forks should match up to straddle the center post.
3. If you can't find a perfect match, some universal vent tabs may work if the dimensions are very close. But an exact fit is ideal for proper function and appearance.
4. As a last resort, you can 3D print custom vent tabs if you have access to a 3D printer and can model the required shape. This ensures a perfect fit but requires more effort.
5. Typically a one-piece molded design like VentTabs is preferred because it lasts much longer , much easier to install and better fit than multi-piece tabs with springs.  

The key is getting replacement vent tabs made specifically for your vehicle's air vents. Double check the make, model, year details to get the proper vent tab design that will install easily and operate smoothly. A poor fit can lead to air leaks or the tabs popping off.
